My Current Work

My inspiration is drawn from nature, places of interest, the animal kingdom and people, often intertwining these elements. Influenced by diverse sources, my current style reflects environments, contours, creatures, expression, and a touch of humour.

In addition to creating pieces for general release, I undertake private commissions and engage in various commercial illustration projects.

Artists who have profoundly influenced me include M.C. Escher, William Hogarth, Brian Bolland, Eric Fischl, Mode2, Charles Griffin, Rodney Matthews, and Barney Farmer, among others.

My creative process involves hand-drawing with fine liner pens and colouring either in ink (using Winsor and Newton Pro-Markers) or digitally via Photoshop using an electroic drawing pad and pen.

In 2024, I was honoured to be voted Clevedon Artist of the Year by the public, in conjunction with Polodango Art Gallery.
